The Pathway to Medicine Club aims to foster an environment of like-minded students with similar career interests. Through this club, members will expand their knowledge surrounding healthcare careers and work towards promoting health in our community.

Pathway to Medicine has been in deep planning since February, 2025. In our plans, we have laid out several opportunities and experiences for members.
Meet The Career
PTM understand that students don't always know what it's like to be in the career they want. As a member, you can expect to learn about your future career through our Guest Speakers. These will be healthcare professionals that are ready to explain their day-to-day life and answer your questions about being in healthcare.
Volunteer Service
Ever found yourself wanting to serve your community in something you're passionate about, but didn't know where to start? PTM helps you bridge that gap with both club-led volunteer projects and opportunities from Scotland Health Department and Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Career Confidence
Our promise to each member is that they will leave the school year more confident in their career choice within healthcare than before they joined PTM.

When does the club begin?
The club is set to have it's first interest meeting in late August 2025. From there, members can expect monthly meetings throughout the school-year.
How do I Join?
To join the Pathway to Medicine club this year, simply be present at our interest meeting in August. There, you can see if this club fits you! For more info see Membership.
What's needed to join?
Nothing! All PTM needs is your presence and dedication.
